Today’s recipe is a healthy twist to the popular tropical Pina Colada, Puerto Rico’s national drink since 1978. In making this cocktail, fresh fruits will be substituted for store bought canned/packed juices.

Pina Colada Cocktail Ingredients:
2 cups fresh ripe pineapple, cubed
1 cup chopped coconut
1 can Three Crowns Evaporated milk (low fat milk option is best for coconut cream substitute)
3/4 cup Dark Rum (dark rum has lower calories than white rum)
2 cups ice cubes (optional)
Fresh pineapple slices (for garnishing)
Red cherry (optional for garnish)
Method:
Pour all ingredients in your blender and crush till smooth. Pour content in a glass and serve with extra ice (if needed).
